People are always asking and what my favorite watch is, this of course is an impossible question with no real answer. However, this techno Kaiser signal vintage watch is definitely right up there
During the '70s technos produced watches in Switzerland and it was a great manufacturer and this watch is definitely a great statement of great watchmaking and also showing that they had a little creative side with the signal
The signal is not a flashing light but a small red moving disc that flashes back and forth in a small window at around the 6:00 hour on the dial I find this so clever and so unique. I am mesmerized by this little flashing "light"
The dial is sort of a purple Smoky purple color in certain lights. You can bring out some other colors. Is this due to the aging? A little bit of oxidation? A little bit of patina perhaps, but it's absolutely beautiful and words cannot properly describe it. It's a really stunning, wonderful piece that I will hate to see go
